I bought the 8 foot 4 weight specifically for mid summer, low water trout and found it versatile enough to use through out the season. I own several Hardy fly rods, this one is definitely becoming my favorite!

Absolutely a fantastic rod! I own a lot of fly rods, this one is by far the most pleasant to use. Light as a feather, excellent craftsmanship, and amazingly responsive. Exactly what I have come to expect from Hardy.
