Been fishing with this product all season now. I have both the 10'8" #0/2 and 9'9" #3. Both catch big fish. #0/2 offers great post cast recovery for quick reference to sighter and casts single small beaded flies in long micro leader. The #3 cast long dry fly leaders much more effectively than your standard 8'6" #3's and generates fast line speed. Tippet protection on both rods is excellent.

I have 3 of the Ultralite LL rods. The 10'2" 2wt, 10'8" 0/2wt and the 11'2" 2wt. These euro style rods are super sweet, extremely sensitive and have ample power to bring large wild Delaware River Browns and Rainbows to the net in pretty short order. I like the latter two mentioned for fishing bigger, wider, harder to get to runs but the 10'2" 2wt has an added bonus of being very capable of throwing a dry line to rising fish. This rod is very universal by loading the reel with a regular weight forward line and just changing out leader systems for the situation your in...long mono leader for euro nymphing or shorter traditional leader for dry fly fishing. I have opportunity to try many different euro rods thru my clientele and these LL rods are spectacular. Kudos to Hardy for a great product!

This was my back up rod for big browns on a recent trip. I was able to cast tiny dries and nymphs and even some nice big streamers. This rod did it all and almost stole the show on my trip. Crafted beautifully, power and lightness and a pure joy to cast!
